Cain beats Perry 27% to 26%, showing Perry to be vulnerable in his home state. Romney is under 10% and shows a broad vulnerability in the entire South.
"...the former executive leads Perry among rural voters in Texas, and has a
smaller lead among suburban Republicans. Perry has a 2-point edge over
Cain in urban Texas...Maybe the most important number is that Cain is up 37 percent to 24
percent among the most conservative voters," said Daron Shaw,
co-director of the poll and a UT government professor.
Breaking...CAIN: "Totally Baseless and Totally False"
"I have never sexually harassed anyone, let's say that. Secondly, I've
never sexually harassed anyone, and yes, I was falsely accused while I
was at the National Restaurant Association, and I say falsely, because
it turned out, after the investigation, to be baseless. The people
mentioned in that article were the ones who would be aware of any
misdoings, and they have attested to my integrity and my character. It
is totally baseless, and totally false, never have I committed any sort
of sexual harassment," ...as reported on FoxNews.com
Politico goes after new Republican frontrunner Herman Cain, with 20 year old allegations.
Of course, there are NO actual statements, evidence or named sources for the smear. That's the way the Leftist media works. Interesting, the media and Politico still haven't investigated Obama's homosexual tryst with Larry Sinclair. It took the media a year to track down the John Edwards affair while his wife was battling cancer. But Black Conservative Herman Cain got about 3 days as the frontrunner before the media resorted to "Clarence Thomas-ing" Herman Cain.
Herman Cain, who is leading in the newest FoxNews Poll, is gaining confidence with his new "Name Brand". Cain will now be more aggressive in taking on Establishment pick Mitt Romney.
ABC News reports from sold out Nueces County Republican Women’s Dinner in Corpus Christi, Texas.
"“Back in early 1990s”, Cain said, “I had to fight Hillarycare and be an
outspoken voice against Hillarycare. During the passage of Obamacare, I
had to fight Obamacare and he passed it anyway against the will of the
people. So it seems as if many of my years have been fighting some kind
of care. Hillarycare, Obamacare, and now I gotta fight Romneycare and
get the nomination.”"
