Herman Cain made a few mistakes last week. But Karl Rove dismissed Cain early on and wrote him off as not viable and inconsequential. Then, when Cain caught traction in the second tier and was the leader of the second tier of candidates, Rove stated his campaign wasn't good enough to break out nationally and into the top tier of candidates.
Finally, now that Cain leads in the long term Real Clear Politics rolling average, all of the individual national polls...and is ahead in most of the key states including Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and Ohio, Karl Rove states that Herman Cain has peaked and he is done.
Tokyo Rove has been wrong all the way from the beginning of the race to the present. Look for Cain to keep expanding his lead over Romney.
This election is shaping up very much like 1976 and 1980. Reagan, the conservative up against the Establishment of the Republican Party.
Much more on this still Developing Story coming...
